I highly recommend Ceri, she gained my 3 yo daughter’s trust almost instantly and got her excited to try talking at child care. OMG, where do I start? After struggling for 2 years with SM and a slow and frustrating journey with psychologists, Ceri happened into our lives. Post 2 terms of Ceri's dilligent and caring support and strategies, little Miss Emma has begun to feel more confident and she started talking in school! At the start of the year we discovered that our 4 year old son had Selective Mutism, in addition to his severe speech delay, which I felt quite overwhelmed about! Upon my first meeting with Ceri, I immediately felt at ease with the guidance and steps she provided on what we needed to be doing to support him in situations that he is not comfortable talking in. There aren’t many therapists experienced in working with children with SM or who ‘get’ the complexities of it, so finding Ceri was a real game changer and I am so grateful for her support. I am relieved that Ceri has a plan in place to make his transition from childcare to kindy, and then to school, as smooth as possible. It is also brilliant that Ceri is a mobile therapist and can do sessions at home or school, and also provide training to the key educators that look after your children.
